Exactly.
A career politican has no idea what life is like out here. The average Joe or Jane can't even run for high office because of the cost to run for office. Where else can you hold a job for four years and retire with a $15,000.00 a month pension.
We really do need term limits, eliminate their retirement, rehash campain reform totally, do away with lobbiests, and bring the government back to the people. Maybe then they wouldn't want to stay there 10, 20, 30 or more years. Get in, do what you promise and then get out! |
