leaving on Amtrak in a few hours to head west to see my son as he is running his first marathon. I used to run half marathons so I want to be there to cheer him on. He has gone from 330 lbs to 170 lbs and changed his life.
So 12 hrs on the train is not my idea of fun but Amtrak knows to have you sleep through Nebraska as there is nothing to see but tumble weeds at least along the track!
I've done this before and went 26 hrs, I can do 12. So off to Denver soon for 4 days of no real estate and no notary work. It's been a long year already. |
