Lauren Canlin is the the 14YO young lady who was rescued from the Montecito mudslide under 20 feet of sludge and debris.
She and her mother appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show. They were presented with a gift check for $20,000 to help them with living expenses. Their home was a total loss and Mr. Canlin and son have never been found.
