I spent a part of this afternoon doing a trust execution with some people whose kids went to the same school as some of those who died. They were anxiously waiting to hear whether or not the daughter of a very close friend was on that helicopter. (She was supposed to return to OC with them on that craft.) One of the coaches was also on board.
While I was there, they found out she was OK. The girls on the helicopter played on two different teams (different leagues), with a game this morning and supposedly another game later this afternoon, which was, of course, cancelled. They said one of the unnamed girls who died was a standout player on both teams. 🙁 |
