Thanks for the Bob's Red Mill suggesstion. We got their harina mix and made corn tortillas, and they were great !!
We use a lot of soy and rice milk, so instead of getting it at the store (we normally get it at Costco), we were looking at getting a big bag of soybeans and bag of rice - to make milk. And perhaps making tofu with the soybeans.
Our whole thing was to not over-burden our neighbors who (who have been wonderful!) with requests to go to the store for us, thus the search online. We eat alot of fresh veggies, and we're just now getting into the idea of having to move away a bit from perishables - which have to be purchased by someone else. Starting a garden is on the horizon as well.
