Since you like charts presented by worldometer, which is limited in scope and span of time, perhaps a look at a full chart of the 1918-1919 pandemic should also be included.
The 2nd wave (something we're about to enter), the winter of 1918, was catastrophic in comparison to the first wave. Then followed by a third and even a fourth wave.
I prefer history as a teacher. JMO
