You really have to distill the water somehow, and Brita doesn't get all the bad stuff out. A better option would be a ZeroWater filter, but depending on how bad your water is, the filters may need to be changed more frequently.
Alternatively, you can get a reverse osmosis filter or set up an actual still. The benefit of the latter is that you can make moonshine as a side gig...  |
