Bro-in-law texted earlier. They are barely 2200 ft elevation at the base of the sierras (Oakhurst) and very close to where the never-ending Creekside fire was. They just got snow. Not unusual to get an occasional dusting but they are prepared to be locked in for awhile with this weather pattern that's heading east over the sierras with heavy snow from CA. He sent pics last week of huge pine trees that had fallen from severe winds.
I talked myself out of a generator. Never needed one in the 26 years in this town but will check weather forecast again. May need to make a run.
