One of the ancestry companies, MyHeritage, now has an option that allows you to upload a picture of someone and have it animated. Using AI technology, their "Deep Nostalgia" will animate the face of anyone in a picture you upload. The examples are all in black&white, but they say it works with color photos as well. Once the animation is done, you can download it and share it with friends and family.
You can use a free account to try it out on a couple of pictures (the results have a watermark); a paid subscription gives you unlimited access and removes the watermark. I have a free account there and will give it a whirl as soon as I find a suitable photo or two, but you can read about it here:
