I was reminded when I got my second shot that I wouldn't be considered "fully immunized" for about two weeks, which is exactly what this article says. I found that the staff at the vax center were eager to answer any questions about how it worked and what to expect.
Start to finish, you're looking at 5-6 weeks from the first shot to what's considered fully immunized (J&J is one-shot-and done, but I think it still requires at least two weeks for full effectiveness). I decided not to break my self-imposed isolation until two weeks after my second shot; I figured I've waited this out a year already, so what difference will two more weeks make?
