Today, our pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, shared text messages with people on the ground in Afghanistan trying to help those who want to leave.
It was heart wrenching to see that the journey was an arduous one. The territory is difficult to maneuver.
They had to run through a sewer tunnel to get to a base where British forces allowed them through to await transport planes.
At least one family had to leave grandma because the travel was too difficult for the elderly. Several sisters stayed with her.
Pastor Jack had blocked out names and areas mentioned.
We continue to pray for all those there that wish to leave and for all those helping out especially the military. |
