Even though Novavax is not yet approved by the FDA (neither is Astra-Zeneca, and we have a stockpile of that), it's still recognized by health professionals as a Covid vaccine. Since they were able to send you a CDC card, there's a record somewhere that you received it, so I don't think you would have a problem.

I think it was ABC News who reported today that a woman in NJ was arrested after selling "hundreds" of counterfeit CDC cards through an Instagram account at $200 a card. She had an accomplice on LI, NY who worked in a doctor's office and who - for an additional $250 - would add your name to the official NY registry of vaccinated individuals. About 10 people took that additional step - unfortunately for the scammers, one of them was an NYS police investigator. All that money was spent to avoid taking a vaccine that is free.
