The Microsoft fairy came by last night and left me a present - Windows 11 is available for me and ready to be installed. As a firm believer in the adage that you can always tell who the pioneers are by the arrows in their backs, I opted to stick with Windows 10 for the time being (you get that choice when you click the notification icon and go to Windows Update), at least until the dust settles. If you choose to install it, you have 10 days to change your mind and get Win 10 back.
I found a PC Magazine review of it, and it seems that most of the changes are cosmetic:
