$5,000 Utah Notary Bond and $10,000 Utah Notary Errors and Omissions Insurance Policy from Travelers covering the term of your commission. The notary bond is required in order to become an Utah notary public and must generally be filed with the commissioning authority, either at the point of application or after.

The Travelers Utah bond and E&O insurance combo can only be purchased at the beginning of a commission term. The insurance policy covers the entire term of the commission and may be upgraded to a maximum coverage limit of $30,000 within the first 6 months of purchase. We recommend purchasing at least $25,000 in coverage.
