| Right, depends on the lender. In years past, though, I have seen instructions to have signers write their own dates, but I've done the same as you. Specifically, if a borrower has some kind of infirmity making it difficult to write, I'll usually tell them to have their partner, etc. go ahead and date for them. (I don't write dates in for them myself.) Most of the time I see that, though, it's for GNW, not a whole loan package. Most of the time, that's not an issue. |
