Just read (most of) the two posts referred to. Yeah, second one probably should have been a PM. Mark could have just stated that he addressed the issue with her privately. Perhaps he just isn't familiar with this forum and the way it works?
To add to what I posted above, I also think any "outsiders" who post here clearly should avoid any statements that could be interpreted as self-promotion. And as for asking for people to rate you here? However you rationalize it, there is no excuse for that. None what-so-ever! Sorry.
If you want a good reputation, continue to treat notaries well, pay decent and timely, communicate, back us up when others undeservedly try to throw us under the bus, etc. There's no secret to this. Apparently, Mark has done a pretty good job of that in the past because there sure were quite a few who spoke well of him and his company.
We can usually see through people who rant negatively about otherwise popular companies...  (Or at least keep an open mind.)
