| Yes I have seen this trend of fees going down and this is because NSA will take whatever is offered instead of asking for higher fees. I have been doing signings since 2005. and yes fees were higher then. Just paper, toner has gone up so much . I have had signing companies offer as low as $35. Some only want to pay $75.00 and they even say on their message its a large package( over 200 pages) which they will give you an extra $10.. This is ridiculous for anyone one to accept a signing at this price. that is just 100 pages from a ream (500 pages).. We must stick together and not accept such low pay.. It costs us a lot to run our car... 1. Gas, 2. Wear and tear on our car..3. Paper, toner our time preparing package. Our time that we spend when we get the order there are instructions to follow then when we get the package there are sometime pages of more instructions we have to read and in addition sometimes they will ask for fax backs which could be from 20 -30 pages and sometimes they want the whole package and only want to add another $10- $15. If you go to Staples, Kinko, Office/Max, Depot they charge about $1.50 each page to fax... That is so much extra work so the little money they want to pay... Please don't cheat yourself. figure all you have to do to do a signing.... |
