yes, it is primary residence. yes, RTC is way past date to cancel. And, yes, lender is choosing not to fund the loan until the property is brought up to city code. Can you blame them? Maybe they're trying to get an exemption from the city for the code infraction. Could be an unpermitted room addition, who knows. I do remember now that it was a duplex and they were living in one of the units. Again, why did it get this far with such a problem?
