Wow - so much awesome input. Yes, I am aware that in Spanish countries a Notario Publico is an actual attorney. Completely different qualifications in those countries. For sure I will make that clear to the people I will be assisting. Sounds like notarizing their "signatures" and staying away from providing them with documents is the safer route. Other than that, I was not planning on giving them advice, as a notary. Requirements are, or may be different for each country. Thank you all. I will play it safe for sure. |
