I do not think an aka is a capacity, but it doesn't matter as we notarize to the ID not the name on the document.

California does not have a "corrected" apa. The documents would have to be signed (or acknowledged) again and a new date would have to be on the notarization ( unless you got it done the same day). The certificate has to be completed in front of the signer (in Ca.). So I will not mention back dating because back filling on the notarization that was previously done would not be right.
