When was the last loan package they faxed over to you? My guess is never, title companies are too busy, but expect you to fax a 130 page package to an efax which comes in their inbox anyway?
A secure platform is the way to go where you pick up and drop and drag your files. They should have firewalls and encryption in place to make it safe and efficient.
I am too busy to sit and expect a package to be faxed to me, much less fax it back...talk about 3 hours of total wasted time and babysitting my printer.
I prefer to pick it up on a platform. 13+ years of fulltime closings, I don't deal with faxing anymore...my companies evolved since the late 1980's, and never is requested of me. Faxbacks = scanbacks
Sure medical still uses a fax for prescriptions from office to pharmacy, but not many in this day and age in title use it anymore.
Can you send a fax without a phone line?
The days of needing a fax machine, or even a dedicated landline, are pretty much at an end. ... You can fax from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection and a app such as FaxBurner, iFax, eFax, and FaxFile. Additionally, you can fax from your computer through faxing websites like HelloFax and FaxZero.
My Brother has a scan to fax feature which I do not think needs a landline, but not sure, never used it.
