As I was reading the forum, I must tell you this. I began in the Title Industry in '98. I was an inside employee and NSA's were getting paid $250+ for signings. Throughout the years as I changed vocations then returned to the Title Agency business, I noticed the fees began to drop. Once I retired and became an NSA I noticed more of these lower fees. I can't hardly imagine the money that was made during the prior eras. I now look at the Closing Disclosure and see what the Settlement/Closing Fee is and yes, it make ME angry to see what they are paying me. I have to generate enough income for me to SAVE and turn some back into my business, not counting the mileage on my vehicle, gasoline etc. With these low ballers, I do not know about you, but I almost can not keep up. One month I am swamped, the next month hardly anything. It seems to be on a rotation every other month. I love not being tied to a desk anymore, however I am having serious thoughts about this business and the low pay scale and the up and down in orders from one month to the next! |
