Happened yesterday. They called me and offered $65.00 for e-doc's for a signing over 30 miles from me. I was shocked and he stated that my base fee was $45.00 + $20.00 for edoc's. I advised him that I have never worked for his company at that fee and never will. He called back later with approval of my fee of $XXX. It turned out this was the ATM division of Service Link, who I don't do as much for, but they have always paid the same fee as Service Link has. I have two for SL next week and they are paying the same fee as I always quote, but on one, the doc's are being overnighting. They stated that they will pay the extra if edoc's are required.
I do live in a rural area, so that may be why I get my fee, but none the less, I have started looking for employment elsewhere, as it is just too quiet and has been since February. |
