I'm alerting SA's with requirements like mine (no contracts if SS).... this is now the 3rd SS from NR Signing Central with 4 stars that tried to enforce a "contracts" rule AFTER the Closing though I specifically told them ahead that I would not sign a contract. Been in field 13 yrs full time working primarily for Title/Escrow/Lender (got very lucky in the beginning and kept to that Client Base).... This post was for other like minded SA's. I'm not attempting to dissuade other SA's from signing contracts. - SS are NOT Title/Lender - they are unsubstantiated private operators who act as a "go-between" Scheduler only to secure a qualified Notary for Title/Lender. They are not required to be licensed in California nor are there any oversight requirements or laws for them to adhere to.... yet their fees act as a reduction to our own. It's up to the individual SA to determine if that is the only way they can work, then by all means, sign their contracts. |
