You have to realize the "appointment setter or schedule" does not make the rules, he is merely doing his job for the company who pays him and will agree to just about anything to get it covered. Once you say yes, your problem of a contract is not his problem, now it goes to accounting. If you were so adamant about NOT signing any contracts, you should have requested it in an email upfront. So far it's your word against his, and he works there, your very expendable. Most subcontractors or independent contractors sign some sort of work agreement aka contract. It basically covers their butts if you screw up, and also protects you that you accept their assignments and follow their guidelines. |
