I suggest that you start an email conversation with someone there. This way, there's no room for denial on their part. I had one company lie to me (after they kept on blowing me off with the old "check is in the mail" claim), saying that their records showed that I cashed the check on a certain date...I immediately asked for a copy of the front and the back of the cancelled check so I could make sure it wasn't stolen and cashed fraudulently...lo and behold, I got an email the following day, saying it was "an accounting error" and the check would be sent out that day...it was. Also, an email record provides proof. I hope things work out for you! |
