I hope you can get the original fee. If not, take what you can get, learn from this horrible mistake WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?? and move on. Thanks for sharing your story. Hopefully, it will do some good for other notaries, but I have my doubts. Disgusting Signing Scream has been playing this game for years and will probably continue to do so as long as NSAs keep saying yes.
Still, I'm curious why you took the job to begin with, especially since their fees are lower than crap. We all take a chance now and then … but Signing Scream? Why would you even answer the phone?
