| The best practice by law, is to leave two signed RTC for each borrower. If there are two borrowers then you will leave four signed copies of the RTC, even if they both signed on the same page. I pull the RTC copies out of the borrowers package and if necessary I make copies, so I have the correct number. Sometimes, I've made an extra copy just in case a borrower signs in the wrong place. I don't see it much anymore, but years ago the lender would type the borrowers name under the line to cancel the loan, which caused some borrowers to sign in the wrong place. |
