I'm encouraged to know that replacements really help. The men in our family have always been extremely active and it takes a toll. My older brother had both knees replaced several years ago and is a new man. I once asked him did it really help him that much, and he joked, "Oh yeah,I can really run from the wife now!" Hes a kidder.
I have knee therapy first thing in the morning. I did a lot of heavy lifting and work around the house on Sunday so was pretty sore and had to lay low today. Still mobile but think I may get heat from the PT ladies in the morning. They really put themselves into making me better. Will see how that goes.
More importantly I hate the sound of crunching in my knee when I walk after strong physical activity. I see the knee doc in a few weeks. Will see how that goes. Good news: I went fishing Memorial weekend crawling around rocks and casting with shoulder and knees on the mend. Got a little too confident maybe. |
