As long as they sign, I drop the package, I get paid 100%regardless if it cancels out later. If at the table and cancels, I usually get 50% and then when it's fixed, go back out again and get the regular price on top.
You laid it out exactly how this ended up costing you money. 200+ pages x 2 is a minimum of $125.00 to $150.00 and they know this. $75.00 is a joke, and sorry you had no idea, but now you do. We all learn from painful mistakes.
