I don't think that's fair.
There are very specific IRS guidelines that every Not-For-Profit must follow to qualify as a tax-exempt organization. It does not matter if you are The American Red Cross or XYZ.
I have to pay income taxes on my profits, but not XYZ.
OK. I get it. I may be the only notary that is bothered by that. I don't think that is fair. So that's my problem. I am sure that XYZ has lawyers that came-up with the Not-for-Profit scheme. I doubt there is anything Not-for-Profit or charitable associated with XYZ. |
