issue. I once asked a notary that did my refi signing about the business. She didn't present a rosy picture--cost of printers, stress, etc.
I ended up getting into the biz when a friend in another part of the state did & recommended it to me. It was really tough getting started, but it's turned out to be a good run for me.
I also get a lot of people ask about the biz, but I do tell them that the biz is tough & now at an all time low.
Once again, we need to thank the XYZ for continuing to sell this as a lucrative profession--which it isn't. I had a seller pkg. today (58 pages) that should have taken 20-25 minutes. The guy didn't trust the process of doing this remotely (CO property--high value) & read everything thoroughly before signing. I walked away thinking that this job doesn't pay near enough for what we go through. |
