This site has been around for nearly two decades now and every post made since then is still in the archives, which is a potential gold mine for anyone new to this business. It's a very good idea to learn to use the Search function (orange button on page 1 of the forum). The archives are so huge now that the Search doesn't work as well as it used to, but Google will often bring up results from this site, too.
So when you have questions, I recommend you try a search first. Some of us have been known to lack a bit of patience when asked questions that have been asked and answered a bazillion times. But if you can't find what you're looking for, ask away. (Just be careful to use your own judgment when it comes to deciding what advice to take... You'll see many different opinions on nearly every topic - and sometimes they can't all be right! )
You might also find it helpful to start with page one and work your way backwards as far as you can. You'll quickly discover what threads (and posters) you can skip. In between the occasional nonsense, there are lots of nuggets that can be very useful.
Good luck! |
