don't know what they're doing. VA doesn't require a class or any form of education/training other than the Notary Handbook that's available online.
I can credit most of my knowledge to this forum--it's been a great resource.
I got a call a couple of weeks ago to notarize a document that was requiring an Apostille. The client had one rejected by Richmond because the notary's commission no. wasn't correct. I saw the notarization, and it looked ok to me. Apparently, the notary didn't have the correct # on her stamp, etc. Yessshhhh!
