I would forget about SOS and Insurance Commissioner as I doubt they will care or do anything about it.

I would QUICKLY get an attorney and start a lawsuit for libel.

If the SS wanted to settle before court, I would still want an amount that would be very painful the the SS, even if smaller than the lawsuit amount. I would also ONLY settle with the stipulation that the SS acknowledged to the lender, the title company and to you in writing that they lied.

Either way this SS would suffer big time!
