when we ended up with the "Chicken Little" discussion. Some think this type of thing can never happen - I think it's easier to implement than one would think - more time efficient and cost effective too. Add to that the employee notary who is now covered under their $1m E&O and professional liability policy, and the storage of the files and the info is secure. The only thing lost is the convenience to the signers who have to show up at the office - UNLESS they go totally via webcam - which IMO could be tricky but can be possible..

I said the day of the remote notary closer could come to an end<<and here I'll add *in some areas*>>...and there you have it.
