He said it's Florida property - and I posted about at least two counties that require witnesses on mortgages - one is absolute - Dixie County absolutely requires them - the other, Suwannee, just informed me of this a few weeks ago and they're pretty "waffley" about it - they sounded not too sure of themselves but they did say, emphatically at first, that yes they require witnesses on mortgages.

If the property's not in Dixie or Suwannee county he doesn't need witnesses.
