Call from individual tonight...wife signed (NBS I think) refi docs in lenders office today in Orlando and lender is forwarding docs to husband (borrower)... lender told him to just find a notary!
I ask whether they said anything about witness requirements...nope.
Please advise what witness requirements should be and whether it is on DOT only or other docs it would apply to.
Also curious about who makes the RTC decision...lender or last borrower to sign? I know this was also recently discussed.
Makes me wonder whether I am over thinking this and should not just kiss...and be just a notary!
