that some lenders don't quite understand them. I've signed thousands of them.
If the spouse wasn't on the loan, then there shouldn't have been a 1003, 4506T, etc. for them.
I've had people ask about signing some as "co-borrower". It doesn't always mean that literally.
If they're on title (DOT, etc.) I have them sign all the title docs too.
