| I agree 100% but in this case you could have requested only this closer and they would pay her what she wanted. I had a friend refi and did exactly that. He told them he wanted me, gave them my name, they "vetted me" and I did the closing for what I asked. It can be done, they don't like it, but the borrower can demand it. Since it's your closing, the cost would probably would have been passed down to you...so maybe not worth it as much in the long run. |
