I think "Verify I-9" is a co., but I can't recall for sure.
I started doing I-9's even though it's not a notarial function. They ask the employee to find a notary because we're used to verifying identification, etc. We actually sign as an "authorized representative". I don't see any major risk, because we're viewing the documentation they're presenting. I've seen some lately that are electronic instead of paper, too. They're easy--10-15 minutes tops. |
