When these people decide to quit the business, most of them have no funds because they already spent them and play the stupid game of not paying the notary for 30-45 days. There is no reason on earth that they can't pay you when they get paid at the very least, but instead they get greedy and don't account for (or just don't care about) money owed to their notaries.
These people are either unskilled at any kind of bookkeeping functions or are dishonest, and end up screwing notaries by not paying them. When you sense people or "companies" slowing down on payments, take that as a warning sign - and simply don't take any more signings from them. That's why it's important to contribute your experiences to SC, if you can fight your way past invisible listings. I have no idea why everything isn't listed, but it's irritating to pay for a service that's useless because only some people in some "area" can see the listings. I put new information in and it comes back that it's already there - it is? I don't see it. Is it invisible highly classified information?
In any case, the constant problem that persists: Some notaries take garbage fees, thinking they're making money, and other notaries "take a chance" that they will get paid, or both of these at once. You might as well go to a casino - probably better odds. It's a jungle out there. |
