. . . as it is a reputable signing company that is scheduling them . . . but when the lady tried to give me a fecal sample rather than a saliva sample . . . I promptly told them to please never contact me again for any of these.
The scheduler then told me that these have been nothing but problems since they were given this contract and one notary in Arizona had just been detained for two hours by the police until they could sort out why she was at the home of an elderly woman trying to get her saliva.
I was under the impression at first that these were people who were sick with cancer and needed to have testing done. After all the crazy things I am reading, hearing from other notaries, and hearing from the signing service schedulers, I believe this is some sort of a study. I don't know if these women answered an ad, saw something on television, or exactly how they got their names but you can see that their doctors did not order this and their family members have no idea what is going on. I do not believe the people you are supposed to collect the saliva samples from even know what is going on.
I've had some crazy things happen throughout my loan signing career . . . but a woman trying to send me home with her poopers is probably one of the most disgusting things I have ever encountered. No thanks on the genetic testing assignments for me. I'm with Cheryl . . . "just does no align with my business model". |
