You are so right to trash this. To spell it out for anyone who might have doubts about saying no:
If round trip is 88 miles and you just calculate the cost of travel at the current IRS deduction allowance of $.545 per mile, not only do you not make ANY profit at all, you're in the hole for $7.96 - NOT counting printing costs or time expended. In what universe does that make any sense?!! Yet we know some will fall for it. SMH
If anyone doesn't get why this is a terrible idea, they should contact the closest SCORE office in their state and ask for free business mentoring service to help with costing out your services. (They can probably offer online mentoring. I believe the one in my county does, at least.
