We often mentioned that he had the same birthdate (other than the year) as Bruce.
But he told me several times that he was actually born on September 13th but as it was Friday the 13th his mother had him registered as being born on the 14th.
I just checked the 1946 calendar and indeed September 13th was a Friday. Now I don't know if the story is true - Paul had a sense of humour and sometimes I didn't know if he was serious or joking. |
