| I went to a signing and it turned out a whole set of doc's was missing. They never sent me the piggyback. It was one of those last minute signings where you don't have time to review a thing - just print & go. I even called to verify if everything was sent. Told yes. But no, after signing was done, borrower says where's my heloc. I called. Listen to a barage of nasty but didn't feel it was my fault. Then the next morning got the call from this place and they wanted me to go back with second set and have them sign with yesterday's date and me notarize with yesterday's date or the borrowers would wind up losing the loan. I said no. It's not worth my commission to do that. Then they call back & tell me that someone else is going to do it, so nevermind. Am I naive or is this an every day thing? |
