I have been having problems getting on to the NNA website. When I do get on, the website is very slow. I started looking around for a local organization that I can join that would assist me with questions/support. I found that my state, Indiana is in the process of forming a state association for notaries. Although membership is small at this time, it is growing. The membership fee is reasonable.
The president (Daniel Lewis) is very knowledgeable about general and state specific notary-signing agent laws. Mr. Lewis holds workshops on Indiana notary laws including RREAL data base tutorials. I also found that he is very approachable and pleasant. He is glad to answer any questions that may arise. The workshop I did attend was lively and interesting. I was glad to have found this organization (Indiana Notary Association). Just wanted to pass this on. |
