Cut people, and you cut payroll taxes, office supplies and infrastructure, brick and mortar, benefits, other employee perks, etc.
Everyone else left behind picks up the slack, benefits continue to be slashed or cut completely, and there is more for the top tier of management and investors.
All the worker bees who are cut out scrambling to get work wherever they can.
It's been this way in my career until I finally refused to buy into it and left the employer/employee relationship where we can be terminated at will. |
