Not for them, but I do have an estate planning firm in my roster of clients. I go in, ID everyone, do my thing, and as I am leaving about 20 mins. later I collect a check.
The first thing I ask is "when can I expect payment?" This just gives me a better idea of whether we will continue the conversation. Their client is paying now, I want to be paid now. Actually, one firm said they would pay this way when asked my question and I decided that everyone should do the same. I also offer swiping my square for them, as I would anyone else.
This can be a nice source of income - you might want to take the chance. |
