| typically, last week of month. Monday, October 27, is last day to sign on refi's with 3 day RTC and still fund and close in October. Industry is pretty much sales people driven (loan officers). If it closes by month end, they get paid their commissions on the 15th of the next month (for most lenders). EOM can extend into the next month. Some lenders will fund into the month up until the 5th of the month. So, typically, EOM includes last week of month and possibly first week of next month. Lately, I have been busy in the few days before the 15th of the month, as some lenders pay LO commissions at the end of the month and therefore anything funded before the 15th gets paid on the 31st. |
